"Listen baby! I’m an alien! I’m a legal alien!
I’m an Englishman in New York!
And you have no idea what sort of insane genre-defying-artistic-practice we are capable of!"

A surreal sitcom
about two failed British performance artists
in New York City.

Think 'The Odd Couple'
meets 'Waiting for Godot'
meets 'The Avengers'...

Emily and Hugh are unhappily married, living in Old York, England.
They are Artists.
Or so they think.

They dream of Art. And of performing their Art.
Emily dreams of her hero Marina Abramović and has named her beloved cat after her. Hugh mostly dreams of men, but won't tell Emily. Together they dream of Performing their Art in New York, USA, beating heart of world culture and radical artistry.
Or so they think.

On finally arriving in that fabled city on a hunt for the legendary Marina and that mysterious lifestyle some call a "career", they begin a bizarre and hilarious journey into the unknown, joining a troupe of so-called Artists in the depths of gentrified Bushwick...
at their shared performance venue... The Cat Is Present!

Amidst this group of dropouts and the deranged, they learn that perhaps they might not be the geniuses they thought they were after all, but perhaps, just perhaps, they might be something completely different... But in the meantime, Art must be Made, Truths must be Told and Marina must be Found. She somewhere out there, somewhere nearby, somewhere where...
